What We Are Building With DooGhoont

Case StudyOperationsNext.js

At SortedCore, we don't just write articles about systems; we design and build them. One of our most exciting internal products is DooGhoont, a digital operations manager built specifically for water delivery vendors.

In many regions, water delivery is a massive daily operation managed entirely on paper notebooks and WhatsApp messages. Local vendors deliver water cans to thousands of homes and offices every day. The logistics are chaotic, customer subscriptions change constantly, and tracking payments is a nightmare.

The Operational Chaos of Water Delivery

We spent weeks interviewing local vendors, following drivers, and mapping their workflows. Here are the core challenges we discovered:

  • Dynamic Routes: A driver's route changes every day because some customers need extra water, others are away, and new customers subscribe.
  • Card Management: Vendors use physical cards to track deliveries. Every day, drivers must punch these cards at the customer's door. If a card is lost or damaged, the vendor loses billing proof.
  • Uncollected Payments: Because cash is collected manually and card tracking is chaotic, vendors lose up to 15% of their monthly revenue to unrecorded deliveries or forgotten collections.

The DooGhoont Solution

We designed DooGhoont to digitize this entire lifecycle into a clean, simple interface that works on basic mobile phones for drivers and a robust dashboard for the vendor:

  1. Smart Dispatch: The vendor dashboard automatically generates daily routes for drivers, optimizing fuel and time based on subscriber schedules.
  2. Digital Cards: Instead of physical punches, drivers mark deliveries as complete on a simple mobile web app. This instantly updates the customer's account balance and triggers a WhatsApp confirmation.
  3. Automated Billing: At the end of the month, the system automatically sends payment links to customers, tracks collections, and flags accounts that need follow-up.

DooGhoont is a perfect example of what we mean by "building a digital core." It is not a generic marketing website. It is a practical, resilient tool that solves a real operational problem, protects business revenue, and makes life easier for drivers and customers alike.
